Cybaverse Achieves ISO 27001:2022 Accreditation, Leading the Way in Cyber Security Excellence

We are proud to announce our achievement of the new ISO 27001:2022 accreditation, becoming one of the first companies in the industry to meet this rigorous standard. The ISO 27001:2022 standard replaces the previous ISO 27001:2013, reflecting the ever-evolving landscape of information security.

The ISO 27001:2022 standard, developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), sets forth comprehensive requirements for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It is designed to help organisations protect sensitive information, mitigate security risks, and ensure data privacy. This updated standard considers the latest cyber security threats and technologies, providing a more robust framework for safeguarding digital assets.

Our commitment to excellence in cyber security was the driving force for us to pursue and achieve the ISO 27001:2022 accreditation. This milestone underscores the company's dedication to providing clients with the highest level of security and confidentiality in an ever-changing threat landscape.

The key changes in ISO 27001:2022 include:

Enhanced Risk Management: The updated standard places a greater emphasis on risk assessment and management, helping organisations proactively identify and mitigate security risks.

Expanded Security Controls: ISO 27001:2022 incorporates new security controls and best practices to address emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Increased Emphasis on Supply Chain Security: The standard now places a stronger focus on the security of supply chains, recognising the importance of securing information throughout the entire ecosystem.

Improved Alignment with Other Standards: ISO 27001:2022 aligns more closely with other cyber security standards and frameworks, making it easier for organisations to integrate their security efforts.

Helping others achieve ISO27001:2022

Having gained first-hand experience in achieving ISO 27001:2022, we are uniquely positioned to support clients through their own ISO 27001:2022 accreditation journey. We can now share our expertise and knowledge gained during the certification process with our clients, supporting them when it comes to navigating the complexities of the new standard and implement best practices.
