Michael Jepson
Michael Jepson brings over 17 years of experience as a Senior Rating in the Ministry of Defence, where he excelled in IT and Warfare Tactics, supporting global operations. His extensive work with bespoke, advanced military IT systems, combined with a strong military ethos, provided a solid foundation for his transition to the Royal Navy's cyber security unit. This experience enabled Michael to seamlessly step into his role as a Penetration Tester.
Driven by a passion for Red Team engagements, Michael has quickly honed his skills through hands-on experience. He excels in Social Engineering, leveraging his military training to extract sensitive information directly from targets, such as Two-Factor Authentication codes. His expertise extends to Physical Security testing, an area where his military background proves invaluable.
As a CREST Registered Tester, Michael’s expertise spans a wide range of areas, including Red Team engagements, Web Application and API testing, External and Internal Infrastructure assessments, Wireless and Mobile Security, and the identification and exploitation of vulnerabilities. His technical proficiency is matched by his commitment to building strong client relationships. Michael ensures findings are thoroughly documented in detailed reports, helping clients understand real-world risks and maximise remediation efforts.
When he’s not further developing his offensive security skills online, he likes to spend time with his loving wife, gorgeous son, daughter and a 75kg St. Bernard.
