Joe Valverde
A seasoned leader with extensive management experience across global organisations, Joe Valverde brings a results-oriented approach with a strong focus on process and problem-solving to CybaVerse. Throughout his career, Joe has managed large-scale budgets and diverse teams, driving impactful changes and efficiencies across multiple departments. Motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a fast-growing cyber security firm, he joined CybaVerse, valuing the company’s flexible working environment and innovative culture.
Joe has continually enhanced his expertise through a variety of qualifications, including a Chartered Management Institute Level 5 certification in operations management, an Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3 qualification, as well as an HNC and HND in Engineering and Management. Committed to ongoing development, he’s also completed specialised training in finance, mentoring, and conflict resolution, among others, to broaden his managerial and technical capabilities.
In a notable project during his career, Joe successfully led the initiative to bring outsourced machining and development in-house at a UK site. This ambitious change involved securing and implementing a quarter-million-pound machine, which yielded a substantial return on investment within the first year and expanded capabilities to handle European projects. His initiative even led to external companies seeking the team's expertise, establishing a unique revenue stream for the global group.
In addition to his hands-on expertise, Joe has been actively involved in mentorship, having led apprenticeship programs to enhance team members' skills and promote a culture of ongoing growth and technical capability.
Outside of work, Joe has a real passion for travel, especially to places often portrayed negatively in the media. He enjoys sharing his experiences to showcase the good in these destinations and values the opportunity to experience new cultures.
